2020 baseball/softball season update

Athletic Associations, Coaches and Parents:

As our government entities make decisions on public safety, we are working behind the scenes to ensure baseball and softball seasons will take place. We are continuing to monitor information released by local school districts, PONY Baseball, USA Softball, CDC, PIAA as well as federal, state and local governments. The contingency plans we established in March are very similar to that of other leagues throughout the country.

Due to varying degrees of speculation regarding the timing of the region’s recovery status, we have laid out several contingency plans that will allow the kids to have a season. At this time, our plans include potential starting dates of June, July or August. Without going into great detail about how this will all work, please rest assured that we’ve planned out seasons and playoffs within each option.
